Ingredients: organic coconut oil
Size: 8.5 oz.
You might just put away all your expensive potions and lotions after trying coconut oil in your daily beauty regimen. It’s loaded with Vitamin E and fatty acids (such as lauric acid, myristic acid, capric acid and more) which are anti-fungal, anti-oxidizing and anti-bacterial, just the sort of stuff that our skin and hair happily respond to! It gently removes makeup (including waterproof mascara), tames frizzy hair, helps with scalp problems, it is a great face cleanser for all skin types (including those with acne). It should be a regular part of your natural, chemical-free beauty regimen.
Face Cleansing ~ Face-care experts explain that “oil dissolves oil.” You may be skeptical at first and worry that coconut oil will leave you with an oily face, but that’s not the case at all. Many people with acne strip away too much of the natural oils on their skin leaving their skin dry and flaky.
Pull your hair back and have a washcloth nearby. Scoop about a teaspoonful of it into your hands hand and hold your palms together to melt it. Then add a little less than a dime-size amount of castor oil to that. Warm the oil in your hands and smooth and massage all over your face and neck for several minutes, including your brows and eyelids, coating your eyelashes (eyes closed). Wet the washcloth under very warm water and wipe off. Do this twice. You’ll be surprised at how good your skin feels and how little oil is left.
Remove Eye Makeup ~ Coconut oil removes eye makeup easily. Gently rub a little onto your eyelid, keeping the eye tightly closed, and wipe off excess with a warm, wet washcloth.
Moisturizer ~ It can be used as an all-over moisturizer, with excellent results. Apply right after showering and throughout the day as you like. After cleansing your face with coconut oil, massage in a small amount and leave on. Your face will feel amazing! Rashes, Eczema, and Psoriasis can cause severely dry skin. While it won’t cure these skin conditions, it can provide relief to the dryness. Rub a bit into affected area and allow time for your body to absorb the nutrients. Treat daily for as long as needed.
Deep-Conditioning Hair Treatment ~ A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Sciences shows that coconut oil applied to the hair reduces hair breakage and damage. Depending on the length of your hair, work in a couple of teaspoons of coconut oil into damp hair. Wrap your hair in a warm towel for at least 20 minutes, or longer if your hair is very dry. Rinse and wash at least two times to remove excess oil. The more oil you use, the more washes may be necessary to remove all of the oil. A little goes a long way.
A small of amount of coconut oil can de-frizz dry hair and helps tame the fly-aways. After styling, massage less than a pea-size amount of oil between your palms and massage into the ends of your hair.
Intensive Hair & Scalp Treatment ~ Each night before going to bed, follow these steps:
- Part hair one section at a time and rub coconut oil into your scalp. A light application is all you need.
- Repeat process for entire head then massage for a few minutes to really work it in. Run a wide tooth comb through your hair to comb out any tangles then put on a shower cap.
- Keep the treatment on overnight, cover your pillow with a towel just in case the cap shifts in the middle of the night.
- Wash your hair as usual in the morning.
- Repeat daily until you are satisfied with the results (may take up to 5 weeks before the dryness is gone).
Cuticle Conditioner ~ Massage into cuticles and nail bed for healthier cuticles and nails.

Great Product
I use this to remove my makeup each night. It leaves my skin so soft. It is also a good deep conditioner for your hair. I highly recommend this product.

Relief to dry, color treated hair
I have had my hair highlighted blond for years now. For some reason, this particular time, it felt like straw after. I decided to try the coconut oil which I normally use on my face. I threw a towel in the dryer to warm it up, put a nickel size on my ends and let it sit for 15/20 minutes. After showering my hair felt like silk and the straw feeling never came back. Better than any salon conditioning treatment I have ever used. I now try to do this every week (as I doubt I will give up coloring my hair any time soon).

Just a quick note...
I still give this product 5 stars, but I wanted to make a note of something I discovered (and it might not be the same for everyone). Previously I always used a cloth to remove the coconut oil from my face. A couple of weeks ago instead of using a cloth I used my hands. I did wind up breaking out a little. I immediately went back to using a cloth and I have never had it happen again. I don't know why, but it seemed to make a difference. STILL happy with the product. If it was slightly whipped it I would give it 6 stars. :)
