Great Face Wash While Pregnant

Being pregnant is both beautiful and laborious (pun intended!). As a “soon to be” mom, you are consumed with thoughts of ways to take care of your precious child. Many try to take extra care of themselves while pregnant in order to protect their beloved baby by eating better, getting appropriate exercise, taking necessary vitamins and prepare a perfect nursery to welcome your baby home.

As moms we are very protective of our little ones, this is what motivates us to make necessary changes. There are some hidden dangers that are in many skincare and beauty products. This is something that surprised me when I was pregnant with my first son. By the time I was pregnant with my second son I decided to look through all of my skincare products to see if they contained any harmful chemicals. I was shocked! I ended up with a garbage full of products that I no longer felt safe to use while pregnant, some of these items included deodorant and multiple face washes. Let's talk about a few face wash options while pregnant but if you would like some information on all natural and effective deodorants, visit the website: dayspabodybasics.com. Because I am not blessed with clear skin, I needed a product that really worked. I struggle with breakouts, and redness. By my third pregnancy, my face broke out horribly! Pregnancy hormones can surface in numerous ways. I am sure many can relate to my experience. Of course I couldn't turn to many acne treatments because they are full of chemicals that are both and can irritate your skin further which would result in even more redness and bumps.

Thankfully there are other options out there that are natural and effective. But which one should you choose? For me it was an easy decision, here at DAYSPA Body Basics we have multiple natural and effective face products. I had to experiment a bit to find which one reacted best to my face while pregnant. Obviously hormones and other changes due to pregnancy can make your skin react a little different. The Matcha Green Tea Cleanser and the Matcha Botanical cleansing powder worked wonders for me!

The Matcha Green Tea Cleanser gently cleans and freshens your skin. This product is carefully formulated without harsh detergents, synthetic chemicals, chemical preservatives, artificial fragrances or any other toxins. It gently washes away toxins, makeup and other impurities. This cleanser is unique and hard-working. It is made with organic plant based oils, soothing aloe, and glycerin to leave skin soft and hydrated. This light face wash contains local organic cold pressed safflower and citrus to gently cleanse skin and remove dead cells that clog skin.

Our Matcha Botanical Cleansing Powder is made up of luxurious botanicals and grains that can be mixed with water or our Matcha Green Tea Cleanser to create a customized, gentle exfoliator. Rice powder absorbs oil while salicylic acid and flower pulp removes dead skin cells. Green tea infuses skin with antioxidants. Both the Matcha Green Tea cleanser and powder work perfectly together!

Of course washing our face is very important, but don’t forget to moisturize. This is an important step to having healthy, clear skin. I personally love our “Coconut Rose Face & Decollete Whipped Moisture Cream.” Quite the mouth full right?? Haha! But this is the perfect moisturizer, it hydrates, plumps and smooths skin leaving it with a glowing finish. It has rosewater, rosehip & evening primrose oil to moisturize, soothe and reduce appearance of redness. Formulated for all skin types and it is never greasy, oily, or sticky. This moisturizer is perfect under make-up or worn alone to let your skin breathe.

We each must choose what to put on our bodies. But remember, our skin is our bodies largest organ and we absorb what we put on it. So examine closely the ingredients in your skincare products. Doing so can protect you and your precious baby.
